These Nike sneakers were custom made for Japanese tennis player Ken Nishikori, and worn by him at the 2019 Australian Open. Nishikori has signed each shoe on the toe box. These unreleased sneakers have tags reading “Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour KN,” “Promo,” and “SP’19.” The sneakers are in Nishikori’s custom size 9.5. At the 2019 Australian Open, Nishikori played 3 five-set matches, including a famous one against Pablo Carreño Busta in the fourth round; Nishikori defeated Carreño Busta 10-8 in a fifth set tiebreak, after which Carreño Busta threw his entire tennis bag on the court. The following match against Djokovic, Nishikori understandably retired in the second set.
