The all-time champion of Roland Garros, Rafael Nadal, wore this outfit during the 2013 French Open Roland Garros tournament, which he won for a record 8th time. The 2013 French Open was a highly memorable one, as in the Semifinal Nadal faced Novak Djokovic in arguably the greatest clay-court tennis match ever. Nadal won the match after a dramatic 5th set, and went on to defeat David Ferrer in the final. The outfit is comprised of Nadal’s custom tailored shirt and custom tailored shorts, which each are accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from MEARS. As the clothes were custom made for Nadal, there are no size tags but instead “Custom Athlete” Nike tagging. The lot also includes a towel used by Nadal during the tournament.
