During the tournament, Nadal defeated Nick Kyrgios and Carlos Alcaraz on his way to the final, however ultimately lost to Taylor Fritz while battling a cracked rib. These custom sample Nike sneakers were never available for retail sale and were tailored to Nadal’s specifications. “Rafa” and the Nadal bull logo are prominently displayed on the heel. The shoes are accompanied by an unworn, custom shirt which was also intended for wear at Indian Wells 2022. The shirt does not have a listed size and has “custom athlete” tagging.
