Lot 3 is a Rafael Nadal personal, custom player issued Babolat racket bag from 2017. Custom-made for Nadal, this Babolat bag exhibits design intricacies that are personal to the Spanish champion. This bag is different from any previously or currently available for retail sale to the public. Firstly, it features the “Rafa” name on top of the bag. The bag also highlights each of Rafa’s 15 previous Grand Slam wins at the time of use; stars with the color of the surface of the 4 Grand Slams are accompanied by the years of his victories. On the side of the bag, Nadal has autographed it with a black marker. This unreleased bag includes a certificate of authenticity from the Rafa Nadal Foundation.
